Born in 1947.

Before studying painting and graphic arts, made an apprentice-ship as a graphic designer at the Werkkunstschule in Hanover . In 1970 is awarded the Gropius prize of this city and in 1973 he receives a scholarship of the Aldegrever Gesellschaft to help him finish his studies at the Academy of Fine Arts of Berlin where he becomes master student of Professor Trökes.

Lives and works in Berlin since 1976.

Has participated in various collective exhibitions and presented his work in various one-man-shows like:
