Born in 1954 in Dresden, then East Germany.
1973/78 Studies at the Art School of Dresden with Gerhard Kettner.
1984 Moves to West-Berlin.
Since 1978, Helge Leiberg concentrates his activities on painting, ceramics and sculptures, but he is also very interested in other means of communication, such as free jazz, cinema, dance, the interaction of painting and music, theatre, opera, literature. He has realized many performances in these fields.
He has also participated in many group exhibitions in Germany and other European countries as well as in India, Brazil, China and the USA. |
