Edna Whyte  
Born 1930. Studied at Kingston College of Art and Royal College of Art, London. Awarded scholarships by Punch, Salzburg Seminar in American Studies and Goldsmiths' Company, London. Book illustrator, designer, painter.

Lives and works on the Island of Luing, Western Scotland.
