FINISTERRA - Exhibition curated by Maria do Mar Fazenda, conceived for three locations in the Algarve: Centro Cultural São Lourenço, Galeria de Arte do Convento Espírito Santo in Loulé and Galeria de Arte Vale do Lobo. Present new works by following artists: André Banha, Gonçalo Sena, Hugo CYearilas, Lúcia Prancha, Luís Nobre, Pedro Gomes and Renata Sancho. “The selection of the artists was made according to their ability shown in former works, to treat the key subject of Landscape in the large sense of the word: description of natural landscape, intervention into the landscape, house and world, idyllic territory, imaginary landscape, the idea of a map. The idea was to bring together artists who would treat the theme through different approaches which would be based on drawing, even in three dimensional form; the idea of line or cut (territorial) is what unites these works as they describe and build up simultaneously a concept of Finisterra.
