Lack of imagination has never been Alfredo Garcia Revuelta’s problem. After the bead sculptures and paintings, the sculptures in wood and lead, the objects with sound, he now presents sculptures in epoxy, big Pin-Ups equiped with a monitor, that seem to come directly from the world of advertising, film and television, looking down upon the visitor with a malicious, accomplice and provocative smile. He covers his figures with glass mosaics and lets them shine and danse in the light. He also uses the traditional technique of Indian ink but puts into his black and white drawings, a strange element, a monitor. Gifted with an exuberant creativity, Alfredo still reserves many surprises for us. An exhibition that we expect with great suspense.
