CCSL presents: GRAPHIC ART MULTIPLES. On show for the first time: a new series of silkscreens on canvas by José de Guimarães. These works that refer to the prefered themes of the artist: Hélène Fourment, Camões strike through the quality of the support, the strong colours and the vigour of the drawing. The show will also present for the first time new silkscreens by Spanish artist Alfredo Garcia Revuelta, known for his sarcastic humour, as well as works from other Spanish artists Juan Ripollés, Antoni Tapiès, Rafael Canales, from Corneille, artist of the Cobra-group, from German artists Günter Grass (a new series of works refering to his last book ”Peeling the Onion”), Helge Leiberg, A.R.Penck and from Portuguese artists David de Almeida and Bartolomeu dos Santos. Susan Norrie, Scottish artist working since years with the Centro Cultural will be also presented. Besides etchings and silkscreens, the exhibition will show some multiples on marble and bronzes by well known Portuguese sculptor Cutileiro. | ||
